„Welcome to Munich, the capital of Bavaria!“, I am an experienced private guide, born and grown-up in Munich. On my tours I would like to show you the main attractions of our wonderful city, such as royal squares and boulevards, castles, palaces, churches, museums,
fountains and monuments, parks and gardens, the Isar riverside, riverbanks with pepple beaches, Beer gardens and the famous surfers on the Eisbach river at the entrance to the English garden.
Furthermore you will get to know hidden corners and lanes in the medieval historical
center of town as well as lively close-by city-neighborhoods like Haidhausen, Bogenhausen,
Schwabing and others.
In an entertaining manner I will tell you interesting and worth knowing facts, stories and anecdotes about the history of town from the very beginning to the present time.
Traditions, mainly the Bavarian Gemütlichkeit , beer, sports, FC Bayern at first, Olympic Park, Allianz Arena, BMW world, but also economy and science, culture, Art Deco (in Germany Jugendstil), the Royal family of the Wittelsbacher dynasty with “Fairy tale king” Ludwig II, history of the national socialism in Munich, exhibitions, concerts, opera and theater are the main topics, which make Munich so exciting and worth living here.
